It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. On top of being a singer-songwriter, Lorenna is a mental health advocate. So she knows all too well how important self-love is to one’s peace of mind. So in “Blossom” she not only holds a bright light up to the wonders that she has within herself but also notes how lucky anyone else would be to get to experience those wonders themselves if they got the chance to share time with her.
It is a love song, but one you sing in the mirror when you need a reminder that it is okay to love yourself.

Window Shopping has dream-like qualities, not just in the literal meaning, but the ethereal sounds that permeate. There is a sophistication to the track I find intriguing and enjoyable. It’s a beautiful song, with revolving melodies bathed with desperation and uncertainty.
LORENNA leaves you craving more and wanting to know how the story will end.

The music is soothing and her vocal delivery matches the vibe to create a perfect track that is sonically pleasing.

The La Note
I write songs because it’s the way that I make sense of my thoughts and emotions along with the rest of the world. My family and I have gone through a lot with mental illness struggles and besides therapy, writing songs is the one coping skill I have to organize my traumatic experiences into little three-minute snippets of time I can digest at a later time when I am ready.

She recently released her new single, called Wasn’t Made For Love, and it sounds impressive. I like the unique melodic construction. Besides, the vocals are out of this world. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the solid hooks and dynamic elements.

The production by Lorenna herself is just remarkable, leaving enough space to let the lyrics sink in and connect, and with the right amount of sounds and melodies to hit emotionally without being overdramatic.
We believe the Lorenna project is a new direction she is heading, and the right one . . .

Description goes hereAdmittedly, it is refreshing to come across an artist writing music that has mostly mass appeal, but still has the artistic integrity beyond the modern-day assembly line to express themselves however they may.
Whether you typically enjoy pop music or not, Lorenna is definitely worth a listen.

A select group of GRAMMY U students attended a Masterclass with singer/songwriter Mike Posner at the legendary Village Studios. The first part of the event consisted of student questions which provided an in-depth look into the music industry, as well as the songwriting process.
